Stop Comparing Yourself with Others
Comparison is one of the biggest reasons students lose confidence.
You look at others and feel like you are behind.
“They are smarter.”
“They study better.”
“They are doing more than me.”
And slowly, instead of improving,
you start doubting yourself.
But here’s the truth—
you are comparing your beginning with someone else’s middle.
You don’t see their struggles.
You don’t see how long they have been working.
You only see the result.
And that comparison is unfair.
Everyone has a different pace.
Different strengths.
Different starting points.
So comparing your journey with someone else’s
will only distract you from your own growth.
Instead, shift your focus:
Don’t ask,
“Am I better than others?”
Ask,
“Am I better than I was yesterday?”
That’s the only comparison that matters.
Because real growth is personal.
It’s not a competition with the world—
it’s a commitment to yourself.
Also understand this—
there will always be someone ahead of you.
And someone behind you.
If you keep looking at others,
you will never feel enough.
So stop measuring your worth using someone else’s progress.
Focus on your path.
Improve your habits.
Stay consistent.
Because in the end,
the goal is not to be better than others…
the goal is to become better than your past self.
